How do I connect to a VPS that doesn't have an IPv4 address?

Connection via JustHost service

If you do not have the technical ability and ipv6 address to connect to the VPS ordered from us only with ipv6 address, you can use our new service to connect to it with ipv4 address.

Look at the email sent to you when you created your VPS.

In it you will find the port number you need to specify when connecting via ssh.

login: root

connection address: 4to6.justhost.ru.

Standard example for connecting from a linux console:

|ssh root@4to6.justhost.ru -p101010

Where 101010 is the port number from the e-mail.

Direct connection to VPS

All our data centers fully support working via ipv6.

And if your provider uses ipv6, you will be able to connect directly to your server without any problems.

| ssh root@ 2a00:b700:2::2:131

Also, you can use your old ipv4 VPS to connect and manage new servers with ipv6 only.

The cost of VPS c ipv6 is much lower, while it has similar functionality and the same features that a regular ipv4 server provides. And sometimes even more.
